Keep water in the cab and drink regularly — don't wait until you're thirsty. Heat fatigue sneaks up fast on long hauls.

Summer heat causes tire pressure to rise. Check your tires before each trip and watch for blowout risks on hot asphalt.
Keep Your Cab Cool Smartly
Park in the shade when possible and use a windshield sunshade. A cooler cab means better focus and a safer drive.
Know the Signs of Heat Exhaustion
Dizziness, heavy sweating, and weakness are warning signs. Pull over safely, hydrate, and contact dispatch if you need help.
